Late Rally by Fitzies Secures 9-7 Win
The Tokyo Fitzies had to overcome a big game from Cairo right fielder David Grillo to leave Fitzies Stadium with a victory. And they did, winning, 9-7. Grillo was 4 for 4 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times. Alastair Bacon converted his 27th save in 33 tries. The Fitzies saw their win-loss record go to 52-68. At the same time, the Pharaohs fell to 51-69.

Tokyo took the lead, 9-7, on Jaromir Cermaka's 21st home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off Cairo pitcher Gerardo Mendoza in the bottom of the eighth.

"I always go out there hoping to contribute," said Cermaka.
