A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Puerto Rico Coqui and Sao Paulo Toucans.

The Puerto Rico Coqui saddled the Sao Paulo Toucans with a loss at Toucans Ballpark. The final score was 7-5. Danilo Samelo was 2 for 4, including 1 single and 1 home run. The Puerto Rico first baseman scored 1 run and drove in 4. Shang-de Kan picked up the win, lifting his record to 7-9 on the season. He struck out 4 and walked 2 in 7 innings, while yielding 4 runs.

With the game tied, 4-4, in the top of the seventh, Samelo had a key at-bat for Puerto Rico. With the bases loaded, Samelo hit a 2-run single off Grama Ramasubraman, making the score 6-4, Coqui.
