Dolphins Mow Down Toucans, 9-2
|
Jason Endacott left his imprint on the 9-2 Havana win against the Sao Paulo Toucans. Endacott, who is tied for 5th in the ABL in bases on balls with 27, was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The Dolphins bumped their record to 20-20 with this latest triumph.
Havana got a big at-bat from Osaka, Japan native Junji Yoshino, who in the top of the second hit a 3-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Dolphins ahead, 7-0.
"We took a roundhouse punch to the chin," said losing manager Casey Blake DeWitt.
