In a low-scoring tilt between the Detroit Blue Gills and the Chicago Beefs, Jhong-shun Liu, who is tied for 7th in the ABL with a 7.0 K/9 rate, was the difference-maker. The Detroit right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. Detroit reliever Jhong-shun Liu picked up the win, while Teka Themba took the loss for Chicago. Osman Sumbatashvili finished the game for Detroit and earned his 29th save.
