Abdul-Wahhab bin Idris was the difference-maker for the Karachi Falcons in what turned into a shootout with the Beijing Emperors. bin Idris, who is tied for 3rd in the IBL with a .950 OPS, went 3-for-4 in the 10-9 Falcons win. The win belonged to Kazuyuki Kanno in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Izaac Kulovana took the loss for Beijing. Aleksander Eckhard picked up the save, his 7th.

In the top of the fifth inning, the Falcons grabbed the lead when Kieran Morrison rapped a two-out single. Karachi was trailing 3-2, when Morrison hit a 2-run single off Izaac Kulovana to put his team in front, 4-3.

"Wild game," said Morrison after it ended.

Karachi now owns a record of 59-68.
