With Late Score, Aztecs Beat Thunderbirds
Mexico City beat El Paso at Ballpark of Mexico City, eking out a 5-4 win in 13 innings. The win was due in large part to center fielder Tai Khuc. He went 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Xing-peng Tze picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Ben Middleton suffered the loss. The Aztecs, at 19-22, sit in third place in the Americas Baseball League North American Division.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 13th. With two out, Khuc hit a splitter from Ben Middleton for a run-scoring double. The Aztecs, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"He who laughs last laughs best," Khuc said, postgame.
