Palmchats Knock Off Thunderbirds at Estadio Santo Domingo

Guo-fang Ming, who is tied for 5th in the ABL with a 3.26 ERA, imposed his will on the Thunderbirds from the get-go. Relying mainly on his curveball, the right-hander spearheaded the 4-0 Santo Domingo triumph. The winning pitcher was Ming, now 7-4. He tossed 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 5. By defeating El Paso, the first-place Palmchats improved to 79-57.
Albert Galvanoni chipped in a solo home run for Santo Domingo in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.
Galvanoni attributed the win to his team's "dogged determination."
