Sao Paulo took on Havana in front of a lively crowd.

The Sao Paulo Toucans powered past the Havana Dolphins, 8-4, at El Estadio Latinoamericano. Darbha Gowd was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once, to lead the charge. Mariano Segura earned the win to go to 13-11. He allowed 4 runs on 9 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts in 8 innings of work.

With Sao Paulo leading 2-1 in the top of the fourth, Gowd hit a slider from Finn McPrior for a grand slam home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Toucans ahead, 6-1.

"It's always great to put the barrel on the ball and contribute," said Gowd.

The victory gives Sao Paulo a record of 80-62.
