|
The Oslo Voyageurs defeated the Black Forest Foxes, 7-4, at OsloDome. Oslo center fielder Montae Ricco had a superb performance. He went 2-3 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The win belonged to Nadir bin Kaliq in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Guntur Layar took the loss for Black Forest. The Voyageurs sit in first place in the Intercontinental Baseball League Afro-European Division with a record of 96-47.
Sern Frandson came through for Oslo when he hit a 2-run single in the bottom of the sixth. With the bases loaded, he hit a two-strike changeup to center field, staking his team to a 5-3 lead.
