Wes Robinson led Melbourne to a win over Tokyo. The final score was 12-1. Robinson collected 4 runs batted in, while going 3 for 5 at the plate. The first baseman also scored 2 times. Husien Karamera picked up the win, lifting his record to 4-4 on the season. He struck out 2 and walked 4 in 5 innings, while yielding 1 run.
Artie Riley hit a 3-run home run off Wendel Lippelt in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Meteors ahead, 4-1. In addition to the homer, Riley had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.
