The El Paso Thunderbirds electrified the crowd with a walk-off win.

Starting pitcher Tien Dung Long pitched well enough to help the El Paso Thunderbirds beat the Santo Domingo Palmchats, 7-6. The winner was Ben Middleton in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Félix Soto took the loss.

The decisive blow was delivered by Fawwaz bin Jalal in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off seven-time All-Star Félix Soto to win the game for El Paso. The home crowd went nuts.

"We'll take this win and move on," said Long.

The Americas Baseball League North American Division-leading Thunderbirds are 93-53.
