Fitzies Lick Meteors, 6-3
|
Kyung-nam Pak, who is a nine-time All-Star, had a strong outing for the Tokyo Fitzies against the Melbourne Meteors at Meteor Crater. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 6-3 win. The loss makes Melbourne 82-65.
Tokyo relied on the hitting of José Villa to pick up the win. The right fielder ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the first inning to put the Fitzies on top, 3-0. For the game, Villa had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Villa.
