Falcons Take Down Emperors, 1-0, in 10
|
For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.
In a low-scoring game between Karachi and Beijing, Ole Neverdal was fantastic. The Falcons left-hander helped his team beat the Emperors, 1-0, in 10 innings. With the win, Karachi has a record of 67-80. Beijing falls to 87-60.
The game-ending blow was delivered by Duecha Jela in the bottom of the tenth. That's when he hit a run-scoring double off five-time All-Star Tom Davis to win it for Karachi and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.
"We found a way to win tonight," Neverdal said.
