Black Rhinos Shut Out Foxes, 3-0

The Nairobi Black Rhinos got a stellar effort from pitcher Lynn Moore, helping Nairobi score a win over the visiting Black Forest Foxes, 3-0. Picking up the save was Gerardo Mendoza. He's now 26 for 31 in save chances. The Black Rhinos, at 71-78, sit in third place in the Intercontinental Baseball League Afro-European Division.
Kaleb Ame had a big run-scoring double for the Black Rhinos in the bottom of the third inning. With Nairobi leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Adan Gandavo and swatted a double to left. It was his 13th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Black Rhinos ahead, 2-0.
"Lynn knows how to get ahead of hitters, stay ahead of hitters, and put people out," said Nairobi manager J Stell.
