Thunderbirds Keep Streak Alive With 10-6 Win
The El Paso Thunderbirds defeated the Puerto Rico Coqui by the score of 10-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Thao Trung. Trung went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 for the Thunderbirds on the day. Joe Madden picked up the win, improving his season record to 12-7. He struck out 3 in 5 innings. El Paso, now 89-64, has stretched its winning streak to 11 games.

Ángel Fernández's at-bat in the top of the sixth was significant, coming with the bases loaded and the game tied, 4-4. The El Paso pinch hitter hit a 2-run single off Kaleab Bourrouag to put the Thunderbirds up.
