Blue Gills Dealt 6-4 Loss by El Paso

The performance of António Ribadeneira proved critical in helping El Paso beat Detroit, 6-4. The Thunderbirds third baseman was 4 for 4 with 4 singles, while adding 2 RBI. Mayne Rippon, who is tied for 10th in the ABL in wins with 5, was the winner. He's now 5-3. The loser was Jhong-shun Liu. Timothy Adamczak earned the save for El Paso, his 7th.
El Paso took control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Jack Davis hit a run-scoring single to make it 5-4, Thunderbirds.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Ribadeneira.
With this game in the books, El Paso is 25-29, Detroit 18-36.
