Stars Drop 10-5 Decision
The 10-5 Sao Paulo win over Los Angeles was due in large part to Akshey Phalgun. The Toucans center fielder was 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs. Grama Ramasubraman came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. His record now stands at 2-0. Sao Paulo has now won 3 straight, while the Stars have lost 3 in a row.

Abraha Saqr, who finished 4th in the ABL in on-base percentage with .423 in 2147, helped out the Sao Paulo cause in the bottom of the first inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder was 1-5.
