The Santo Domingo Palmchats went home winners at Tokyo Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Mujtaba Mahmud Khel. Mahmud Khel stifled the Detroit Blue Gills, enabling Santo Domingo to grab the 6-1 win. The winning pitcher was Mahmud Khel, now 2-3. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 2. The Americas Baseball League Latin American Division-leading Palmchats are 34-25.

Jack Mitchell went 1 for 2 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Santo Domingo. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Yoshinori Matsushita. It was his 28th RBI of the season.
