Aztecs Stumble, Lose to Palmchats
Santo Domingo Palmchats starter Gilg Koch found his groove in his team's 8-4 win over the Mexico City Aztecs. Hsin-pei Chi earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He upped his record to 3-0. The second-place Palmchats sport a record of 36-26.

Albert Galvanoni had a big bases-clearing double for the Palmchats in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Santo Domingo leading 5-4 and the bases loaded, he got a forkball from 31-year old right-handed pitcher Yeo-san Cho and swatted a double to right. It was his 13th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Palmchats ahead, 8-4.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Galvanoni said after the game.
