Falcons Earn Win with Late Rally
|
Karachi right-hander Husien Karamera helped his team edge Cairo by the score of 1-0. Karamera kept the opposing lineup in check. Karachi reliever Bennie Terry snagged the win, upping his record to 3-3. Héctor Leal shouldered the loss. The current losing streak for Cairo has reached 5 games.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Karachi pinch hitter Mike McMillan, facing Haddis Sahnine, had a run-scoring ground out. It gave the Falcons the 1-0 win.
"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," McMillan said.
