No matter what the Melbourne Meteors threw at him, Danh Sa hit it. He easily handled Meteors pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Emperors triumph, 22-4, at The Bird's Nest.

"The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview.

Told of Sa's quip, Meteors skipper Bob Meteors said he "would take him up on that next time."

Danh Sa hit a solo-shot off Mud Lihalakha in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 8th.

Sa has collected 71 hits for the Emperors this year, 3 of them home runs. He has also netted 43 RBIs and scored 29 runs while batting .314.
