The Paris Fleur-de-Lis took Rome pitcher Husain bin Sariyah's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Stade de France. The final score had Paris getting past the Generals, 5-2. bin Sariyah went 6 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 5. The winner was Umer Ufanisi in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Talal Yunus took the loss. Paris bumps their record to 27-40 with the win.
Aleksander Vika hit a run-scoring double off Iman Kharoti in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Fleur-de-Lis in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Vika had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"It was a team effort and I thought the guys had a good plan and approach," said Vika after the game.
