Fleur-de-Lis 5-2 Victors Over Generals

Paris starter Stefan Tsolakoglou pitched well against the Rome Generals at Stade de France. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-2. Tsolakoglou, now 6-2, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 8, walking 4, and allowing 2 runs. Reynante Daquigan notched his 11th save in 18 chances.
The Fleur-de-Lis got a big at-bat from center fielder Girma Nanji. For the game, Nanji was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 18th home run of the season gave Paris a 2-1 lead.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Nanji told the Paris Today.
The Fleur-de-Lis move to 28-40 with the win, while the Generals drop to 39-29.
