Tokyo Tumbles Again, Falls, 7-6, to Paris
The Paris Fleur-de-Lis and Tokyo Fitzies obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.

Paris beat Tokyo at Stade de France, escaping with a 7-6 win. The win in large part was due to first baseman Sharif Din. He was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Reynante Daquigan, who finished 5th in the IBL in saves with 26 last year, was the winning pitcher. Over 6 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 5 hits, with 5 walks and 2 strikeouts.

With Paris leading 5-1 in the bottom of the third, Din came up to bat against Tokyo pitcher George LeBlanc. Din hit a sinker to right-center for a solo home run. His 5th home run of the season put the Fleur-de-Lis on top, 6-1.

"Nothing is scripted in this game," said Din.

This loss makes it 6 in a row for Tokyo.
