Emperors Heading to League Championship Series
While it wasn't a complete mismatch, the Beijing Emperors showed themselves to be the superior team in the Divisional Series, downing the Melbourne Meteors 4-2.

"Nothing is ever easy in the World Baseball Association playoffs. Whether you're a favorite or an underdog, you can't take anyone lightly or you'll get burned," said Njoroge Sarahani, who was named series MVP after a standout offensive performance.

Beijing won the final game by a 4-3 count at The Bird's Nest to clinch its spot in the next round.

They will hope to once again rely on Sarahani there, as he hit .483 with 2 home runs, 6 RBI 9 runs scored during the series.

The Beijing Emperors don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Daegu Monks - Oslo Voyageurs series. Oslo leads the series 3 games to 2. The League Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 15th , 2151.
