Karachi Win League Championship Series
The Karachi Falcons are riding high after winning the League Championship Series and eliminating the Rome Generals by a series score of 4-1.

The final blow came tonight at Muhammad Ali Jinnah Stadium, when Karachi secured its spot in the WBA Championship Series with a 8-2 victory.

"It feels good to put them away because we really didn't want to let them crawl back into this series," said first baseman Afzul Khan, who was named series MVP. "A team like that, you need to bury them when you get the chance."

Khan certainly helped his team's cause, as he hit .421 with a .409 on-base percentage in the series. He also chipped in 0 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 2 runs.

The Karachi Falcons will play against the Santo Domingo Palmchats in the next round. Santo Domingo won their series against the Puerto Rico Coqui 4 games to 1. The WBA Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 31st , 2147.
