Aztecs Stay Hot With 4-1 Win
The Mexico City Aztecs beat the Chicago Beefs, 4-1, at Beefs Stadium. Starting pitcher Christian Perron was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Perron, now 8-6, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 1, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Picking up the save was Hayato Tsuchida. He's now 21 for 25 in save chances.

Alfonso Alfaro, who is tied for 8th in the ABL in RBI with 51, had a direct impact on the outcome. Alfaro contributed a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning to put Mexico City up, 2-0.
