Jaguars Handle Havana, Snag 8-0 Win
|
Havana had no answer for 36-year old right-handed pitcher Kasim bin Kadar. The Rio de Janeiro Jaguars starter stymied Dolphins hitters, helping the Jaguars cruise to victory, 8-0. Rio de Janeiro currently is in second place in the Americas Baseball League Latin American Division at 48-27.
Early in the game, center fielder Naruhiko Goto had a 2-run triple for Rio de Janeiro. It was his 4th triple of the season and put the Jaguars on top, 2-0.
"I wish every win came this easy," said Goto.
