Great Effort by Darroch Wasted in 1-0 Monks Loss
|
The Daegu Monks and Black Forest Foxes provided some drama for the home crowd.
The Daegu Monks got a superb performance from pitcher Jack Darroch. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Black Forest. The Foxes won the game, 1-0. Darroch threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball. Anuhlada Phadkar notched his 2nd save of the season.
Darroch pitched a very strong game for the Monks, allowing 4 hits in 8 innings while striking out 10. It was all for naught, however.
The Monks, 4-6, continue their sluggish start to the 2151 campaign.
