June's Premier Pitcher Announced by ABL Friday, July 1st , 2146 Last month's cream of the crop on the mound was Dodek Wolotka of the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars. He captured the Americas Baseball League Pitcher of the Month award for his outstanding performance in June. Wolotka started 5 games, threw 37 innings, yielded 23 hits and logged a 4-1 record. He put down 30 batters on strikes, walked 10 and compiled a 1.95 ERA. Opposing teams batted .174 against him. In 18 starts this season Wolotka has recorded a 9-5 record and a 3.67 ERA. |
