Santo Domingo Trades Tukufu for Rome's Ling Monday, July 31st, 2130 The Baseball News Network is reporting that Santo Domingo and Rome have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 22-year-old minor league CF Tariku Tukufu, a 3rd round draft pick, a 3rd round draft pick, a 4th round draft pick and a 5th round draft pick to the Generals with 32-year-old minor league RHP Wei-sng Ling joining the Palmchats. Santo Domingo general manager Huck L. Berry would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. This season Ling has 17 saves with a 2-4 mark and 2.92 ERA. |
