Daegu Monks Ship Romero to El Paso Monday, July 31st, 2130 The Monks and Thunderbirds pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 26-year-old RHP Felipe Romero head to El Paso in exchange for 24-year-old minor league RF Víctor Luna and 23-year-old minor league RF Nicolá Figura. A source close to Daegu officials said "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs." To this point in the season, Romero has 21 saves in 38 relief appearances with a 4-4 mark and 3.50 ERA. He has 32 strikeouts in 43.2 innings with 12 walks. |
