Tareen Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Thursday, August 20th , 2150 Some days, a great game just isn't enough. Gabir Tareen of the Los Angeles Stars found that out the hard way. Tareen had a great day at the plate, pounding out 4 hits in 5 at-bats and hitting for the cycle, but watched the Puerto Rico Coqui win the game, 8-5. "It is a frustrating feeling to know you did so much and still lost," the 26-year-old right fielder said later. "But it is a feeling you have to get used to if you want to play baseball for very long. It just happens."
