Emeralds Himes to Miss Year Wednesday, May 24th, 2113 When Jason Himes was hurt against the Carolina Flight, the Northwest Emeralds were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 28-year-old second baseman suffered a concussion colliding with a player at a base in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Himes would miss 8-9 months of the season. So far this season Himes has hit .262 with 2 home runs, 25 RBIs and scored 30 times. |
