Karachi Falcons Ship Karamera to Melbourne Monday, June 28th , 2151 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Falcons announced today the acquisition of a 3rd round draft pick and a 3rd round draft pick from the Melbourne Meteors in exchange for 33-year old minor league RHP Husien Karamera and 34-year old minor league RHP Abracham Layar. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Falcons, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." To date this year, Karamera has compiled a 2-4 mark with a 2.95 ERA in 14 starts. |
