Red-Hot Pitcher Chills Out on Award Thursday, July 1st , 2151 Clodio Castanhedo made a lot of Los Angeles fans happy this month. He not only put up a fine 1-1 won-lost record, he also was named the Rookie of the Month in the Americas Baseball League. In June, he made 0 starts and compiled an impressive 2.16 ERA, allowing teams to hit only .228 against him. For the year, Castanhedo has made 27 relief appearances and claimed 18 saves.
