IBL Names Melbourne's Rodríguez Top Rookie Thursday, July 1st , 2151 Manny Rodríguez earned June's Rookie of the Month honors in the Intercontinental Baseball League for last month's performance. The boyish Melbourne second baseman might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Rodríguez hit .315 with 3 home runs, 18 RBIs and 12 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. Currently Rodríguez is batting .364 with 4 home runs and 30 RBIs. |
