Toucans Rubén Ramos Wins ABL Award Monday, September 13th , 2151 It was a fantastic week for Sao Paulo catcher Rubén Ramos and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the Americas Baseball League Player of the Week Award. Last week Ramos hammered the ball at a torrid .478 pace, going 11-for-23 with 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. In this current campaign Ramos is hitting at a .273 clip with 25 home runs and 89 RBIs. |
