Pane Fashions No-Hitter Against Palmchats Tuesday, September 21st , 2151 In a dominant outing, Sigit Pane of the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars totally silenced the bats of the Santo Domingo Palmchats, finishing with a no-hitter. In the 4-0 victory, Pane faced only 30 batters, surrendered no hits, had 7 strikeouts and 3 walks. "Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," Rio de Janeiro manager Echo 127 said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any." Commenting on the defeat, losing manager Huck L. Berry told reporters in the clubhouse that he had a "simple" analysis of the game. "The Jaguars had all the hits and all the runs, so they won," he snapped.
