The future looks extremely bright for Rimbo Alisjahbana. At the age of 23, many players are still trying to find their way in World Baseball Association.
Alisjahbana has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Intercontinental Baseball League Position Player of the Year Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .301 this year, that's for sure," the center fielder said.
The Oslo Voyageurs star also put up a .353 on-base percentage this year, with 184 hits, 32 doubles, 7 triples, 28 home runs, 86 RBIs and 111 runs scored.
Montae Ricco of the Karachi Falcons finished second in voting, while Abdul Salam Durrani of the Black Forest Foxes finished third.
