El Paso Makes the Playoffs Thursday, September 26th , 2148 They have their eye on the Americas Baseball League North American Division crown, but for now the El Paso Thunderbirds are happy to have guaranteed themselves a playoff berth. "We'd like to go in as division champions, that's for sure," said starting pitcher Tien Dung Long. The Thunderbirds currently have a 90-56 record and when playoffs begin will be vying for the 11th World Baseball Association championship in franchise history. |
