Monday, November 5th, 2108
The future looks extremely bright for Cheslav Zamorov. At the age of 26, many players are still trying to find their way in Americas Baseball League.
Zamorov has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Americas Baseball League Position Player of the Year Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .357 this year, that's for sure," the left fielder said.
The Santo Domingo Palmchats star also put up a .428 on-base percentage this year, with 217 hits, 34 doubles, 1 triple, 47 home runs, 154 RBIs and 134 runs scored.
Sebastião Henriques of the Los Angeles Stars finished second in voting, while António González of the Sao Paulo Toucans finished third.
