Postseason Bid Ends for Phoenix Saturday, September 30th, 2130 They put up a valiant effort, but the Phoenix Burros didn't have what it takes to make the World Baseball Association playoffs in 2130. The club was officially eliminated from postseason qualification today. "Sucks," said Burros right fielder Elliot Skinner. Before this season, the Burros last missed the playoffs in 2128. In the 34 years they have been a World Baseball Association franchise, they have missed the playoffs 20 times. In the last 10 years, they have missed the playoffs 5 times.
