Monday, November 5th, 2114
The future looks extremely bright for Norbert Rhodes. At the age of 25, many players are still trying to find their way in Americas Baseball League.
Rhodes has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Americas Baseball League Position Player of the Year Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .339 this year, that's for sure," the shortstop said.
The Carolina Flight star also put up a .382 on-base percentage this year, with 202 hits, 32 doubles, 8 triples, 26 home runs, 98 RBIs and 87 runs scored.
Ryan Hernández of the Los Angeles Stars finished second in voting, while Ricardo Peralta of the Santo Domingo Palmchats finished third.
