Trapa Picked as August's Pitcher of the Month Friday, September 1st , 2147 When Maximino Trapa takes the hill, chances are good for a Los Angeles victory. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 5-1 mark and 2.21 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 40.2 innings, fanned 32 and held others clubs to a .225 average. That's why the Stars star was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the Americas Baseball League. To this point in the season Trapa has 10 wins and 8 losses and a 3.58 ERA. |
