"I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches," he said after the game. In all, the Sao Paulo hurler rang up 3 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout win. "We just didn't swing the bats well today," said Fitzies manager Meeks 17. "Espinosa did a good job keeping us guessing."
