Puerto Rico Win Divisional Series Thursday, October 19th , 2147 Pedro Padilla has led his Puerto Rico Coqui to a Divisional Series victory. Puerto Rico's right fielder was named series MVP after playing an instrumental role in winning the series 4-2 and eliminating the El Paso Thunderbirds. "See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "It's simple what I did this series." The club advanced to the League Championship Series with a 9-2 triumph at Thunderdome in the deciding game. Padilla was red hot in the series, which saw him put up a .520 average, as well as 2 home runs and 6 RBI. The Puerto Rico Coqui don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Sao Paulo Toucans - Santo Domingo Palmchats series. Santo Domingo leads the series 3 games to 2.
