Monday, October 23rd , 2147
Fans hailed the signing of Kwan-yew Lei today as the Chicago Beefs closer came to terms with the club.
Set to make $9,600,000 over the upcoming 3 years, Lei signed primarily out of loyalty to the organization, thrilling the most diehard supporters who think there isn't much loyalty in a market driven by free agency.
This season Lei has worked 125 innings in 70 relief appearances and picked up 12 saves. He has dished out 123 strikeouts and walked 48 with a 7-6 mark and a 3.74 ERA.
