IBL Reliever of the Year Award Winner Named Monday, November 13th , 2147 Kei-thing Shang has won the 2147 Intercontinental Baseball League Reliever of the Year Award, which at age 36 is a "milestone achievement" for the Tokyo Shogun reliever. "I feel accomplished to win this when there are other younger, stronger, harder-throwing guys out there," he said. The Keelung, Taiwan native's numbers speak for themselves, as he captured the award with 45 saves in 68 relief appearances, compiling 74.1 innings. He had 54 strikeouts and 17 walks, a record of 4-5 and an ERA of 2.30. Akantaka Srikrisna of the Karachi Falcons finished second in voting, while Nokrashy Kumbufu of the Oslo Voyageurs finished third. |
