Week's Best Player: Goiania's Crudge Monday, May 13th, 2126 22-year-old Woody Crudge made a few Goiania headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and ABL Single A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 14 hits in 27 at-bats to put up a .519 average. Crudge collected no home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 5 runs. So far this year Crudge is batting .318 with no home runs. |
